Successful first half of ?08 in sorting technology

The combination of a booming economy and highly innovative technology has made for a very good first half of 2008 at dataschalt Sortiertechnik GmbH.

Completed projects include the optical sorting of various foodstuffs as bulk solids. Separating crystals from rock in a mine was particularly challenging. This required the highest standards not only for optical image analysis but also for mechanical strength.

In the course of these projects, all of the technology was raised to the next level. For example, through the development of a new FPGA interface card, the sorting electronics improved and the production cost was optimized.
